@waldblasd deputies collaborated with @chp_santa_fe_springs and @lacountyfd to bring the “Every 15 Minutes” program to Rowland High School. The program focuses on educating the youth about the dangers and responsibilities of making wise decisions when driving.
The simulated vehicle traffic collision involved students from Rowland High School. The Senior and Junior class students were invited to watch the aftermath of a fatal traffic collision caused by a drunk driver.
Don’t drink and drive. Be safe. Drive responsibly.

The volunteers within our LASD family perform many diverse roles including; clergy members providing support during crises, front desk volunteers assisting the public at stations, clerical volunteers aiding in administrative tasks, patrol volunteers serving as additional eyes and ears in the community, mounted volunteers conducting observation patrols, search and rescue volunteers aiding in emergencies, mentor youths participating in law enforcement activities through the Explorer Program, and CERT certified volunteers responding to disasters.
To all the volunteers who generously give their time, energy, and heart to support Los Angeles County, we want to express a deeply heartfelt thank you. Your selflessness and dedication make a profound impact, touching lives and spreading kindness in ways that words can`t fully capture.
